Located eight minutes on foot from Miyajima Ferry Terminal, almost in the very center of Omotesando Shopping Street, “Yakigaki no Hayashi” is a restaurant specializing in oysters. This restaurant, the birthplace of the shell-cooked oyster, was the first in Japan to serve oysters cooked in the shell to guests. We use only the highest-quality brand oysters and cook them using a technique passed down since our founding.
In order to allow you to take home some of the wonderful flavors of our food, we sell our original vinegar soy sauce, pickled oysters in oil, and flavored nori (seaweed) at the restaurant entrance.

Our sister café, CAFE HAYASHIYA, is located on a townhouse street one street away from the Omotesando shopping district. By all means, visit it after your meal or during your rest when sightseeing. It’s in a place which can be found right after you go through the alley across our restaurant, and it’s at a 1-minute walking distance.
